About Dr. Rosenblatt
Dr. Andrew Rosenblatt (he/him/his) is a licensed clinical neuropsychologist based in the Encino and Santa Monica areas of Los Angeles. Dr. Rosenblatt’s clinical expertise includes neuropsychological assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and psychotherapy for young adults, adults, and seniors. He has extensive experience in the evaluation of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias, such as frontotemporal dementia, dementia with Lewy bodies, dementia due to Parkinson’s disease, and other conditions.
Throughout his career, Dr. Rosenblatt has published research on topics including traumatic brain injury, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), Alzheimer’s disease, and how Alzheimer’s disease and dementia affect older adults in the LGBTQ+ community (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, as well as additional identities). He is involved in advocacy, education, and community outreach initiatives aimed at improving access to LGBTQ+-affirming healthcare.
Dr. Rosenblatt previously held a clinical and research position at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, working within the Jona Goldrich Center for Alzheimer’s and Dementia. He completed a two-year postdoctoral fellowship in clinical neuropsychology at the UCLA Semel Institute of Neuroscience and Human Behavior and his predoctoral clinical internship in neuropsychology at the Yale School of Medicine-affiliated VA Connecticut at West Haven. He earned his PhD in clinical psychology with a major area of focus in neuropsychology from the University of Houston. He holds a B.A. in Neuroscience from Skidmore College.
